Dr. Soumya Ray attended prestigious Ragas Dental College & Hospital, Chennai where he earned his bachelor of dental science (BDS) degree. He graduated with his masters in prosthodontics (MDS) from Ragas Dental College & Hospital, Chennai. He also went on to attain fellowship in Implantology from the Nobel Biocare Fellowship program. He has over the years, become a practitioner of evidence-based dentistry and has always taken a holistic and comprehensive approach to dental treatment. He believes in preventive dentistry which saves a lot of money and time for the patient.

\0He is a firm believer in an interdisciplinary approach in dentistry in general and towards recreating smiles in particular. He inculcates the principles of best practices and encourages every staff in his office to embrace it. Dr. Soumya Ray was a consultant at Apollo Dental, Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata.

He has published articles in many journals, including in the prestigious Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Soumya Ray has won multiple awards, including BEST PROSTHODONTIST AWARD, 2024.

He loves sports and movies which he passionately involves himself in. He currently stays in Kolkata with his wife, Dr. Swetha Ray and son, Rishi Ray.
